Psalm 18 - His Birth in Our Hearts
Psalm 18:1-2 I will love thee, O Yahuweh, my strength. 2Yahuweh is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
To love God means to make every attempt to draw as close to God as is possible in this material world. Fear of God precedes love. Only than do you serve in love without expectation of reward. Yahushua is the Rock.
I Corinthians 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
My strength is the Holy Spirit of truth which in dwells me. Romans 8:9
Man’s iniquity (evil inclination) is always present, without the presence of the Holy Spirit in me I would not be able to resist; The divine influence (grace) upon my heart reflecting in my life, His laws written on a heart of flesh. Titus 2:11-12 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,  12Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly,  righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Psalm 18:21-23 For I have kept the ways of Yahuweh, and have not wickedly departed from my God. 22For all his judgments were before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me. 23I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity.
Not the ability to keep His ways but the desire. Even my strength is His.
Psalm 18:28 For thou wilt light my candle: Yahuweh my God will enlighten my darkness.
II Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ ( Yahuweh who saves, Yahushua the Messiah).
Psalm 18:30-310As for God, his way is perfect: the word of Yahuweh is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.  31For who is God save Yahuweh? or who is a rock save our God? John 10:28-30 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. 30I and my Father are one.
Psalm 18:46 Yahuweh liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.
Isaiah 45:5 I am Yahuweh, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
Philippians 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: (Yahuweh the savior)
Yahushua, Jesus is Yahuweh and His Spirit is who in dwells us. The gift of grace bringing light to darkness, strength to weakness, guiding us unto all righteousness by His Spirit of truth, mercy and love; His birth is our birth.
